कुटजः कटुको रूक्षो दीपनस्तुवरो हिमः ।

अर्शोऽतिसारपित्तास्रकफतृष्णामकुष्ठनुत् ॥

Ingredients:

Each tablet contains aqueous extract derived from 2 g of Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica).

Indications:

Ajirna, Arshas, Atisara, Raktapitta, Trushna and Kushta.

Dosage:

1-2 tablets, 2-3 times a day, one hour before food or as directed by the physician.

Kutaja is a rich source of around 30 steroidal alkaloids like conessine, kurchine, conaine, holarimine and, it inhibits larval growth.

Kutaja is very useful in diarrhoea, amoebiasis & giardiasis and useful against diarrhoea causing organisms like E Coli, Shigella, S Aureus & S Typhi.

Kutaja is an excellent Resistance Modifying Agent - RMA and useful against multi-resistance pathogenic bacteria.
